Construction started at Kirkland Middle School for their new addition this week.
As part of the 2022 Building Excellence Construction Levy, Finn Hill Middle School, Kirkland Middle School, and Redmond Middle School are all adding eight more classrooms starting in the fall of 2024.
The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) selects students who are committed to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, character and citizenship. For their dedication to these values, 11 Lake Washington School District (LWSD) students were given the Outstanding Achievement Award (OAA).
Lake Washington School District (LWSD) students have always excelled in art and writing, and this year is no different. Thirty-eight LWSD students were recognized during this year’s Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
