I have not seen churros there yet, but if you are looking for a sweet treat after your meal they have coconut flan and a chocolate taco!

I had an amazing experience the last time I was at Red Star. As a Seattle local, they have some of the best tacos for the price and Curtis, our server, was exceptional. We'll be back!

Wonderfully delicious tacos. I visited on their 10th year anniversary where all tacos were $2.50, and helped myself to 5 of their 18 options. You simply can't pick a wrong option, and my personal ranking from good to best:

      5. Tequila like chicken
      4. Yucatán style roasted pork
      3. Red Star Philly - tender beef & cheese simply melts in your mouth
      2. Catfish - light & crispy texture balanced with a pickle topping
      1. Carnitas - so savory & juicy, absolutely would order multiples of this

      3.5 Stars

Fusion taco spot with margaritas in a festive space.

      Pros:
-Portions are great. Tacos are filled to the brim and they do not skimp on protein. Burritos are also huge.

-The fusion tacos are flavorful and creative. I think the flour tortillas are handmade or fresh or something because they are warm and fluffy and addicting. I tried the Agave Shrimp and Elote ($5.5) and Steak Salad ($5.5) tacos.

      Neutral:
-Queso ($12) was tasty, but very salty.

-There were some people chillin there working on their laptops. Respect but also, kills the vibes a little, lol.

      Cons:
-Love that is is 21+ only.

-I found the actual Mexican food items to be very bland. The side refried beans and Rice were watery and lacked flavor, and the carne asada burrito with guacamole was also just average.

      Staff was cool too.

If I could give this place a negative 5 star review I would. I know many readers will think ohhh disgruntled customer. But let me tell you what happened to me and my friends at this bar, and you decide for yourself.

We came in for a pre-party drink before going to a show. A blonde middle aged waitress led us to a Booth In the corner. At first we felt welcomed,it had a nice ambiance, and a wide menu. As a group of parents we rarely go out without our children. This was a special occasion and excited for a nice treat and a special occasion. We all ordered a round of drinks. The place was busy and brought us our drinks maybe 20 minutes later. We were enjoying our time, it was such a pleasure to have friends together, a chance to unwind.

The bigoted waitress then came back, somewhat belligerent and with no rational thought, slurred speech, and, despite this , we asked to order one more round for the table. She said " oh, it's our policy not to order drinks again until your atleast 1/2 done with your first". We were taken aback that this bar does not serve drinks until you are atleast 1/2 way done with you first, but we were agreeable and went on with our time.

The waitress came back again, aggressive stating we cannot serve you another round. She was disrespectful, ageist and discriminated against us due to our age, gender and race, despite us being kind, engaging and respectful paying customers.

I have never been so disrespected in my life. I will never go back there again and hope you never go there either, and god forbid you go there if you are any kind of minority.

Taco Tuesday: $2.50/taco!!! 2 vegetarian tacos, both good. And their salsa is fresh and has a good kick to it ‍

They have a menu for non-alcoholic cocktails and some NA beers to choose from, but plenty o alcoholic options (hence the 21+). Happy NA cocktails are on the rise. PiCoco was good but admittedly like most NA's tasted like fancy juice, but we're taking steps in the right direction at least !!

I enjoy the long community table options. I think it works for the space and makes it feel more neighborhoody.

Overall: always enjoy this spot. Super clutch location, lots around, good hours, no kids.

Sriracha honey tofu taco (top right) Sweet potato black bean taco (bottom right) Rice and re-fried beans (can opt for black bean)

I don't really get the hype of this place. The food was just okay and kind of pricey for what it was. The service was friendly though!

My daughter recommended this for dinner one evening and I could see why it is one of her favorite places to go. it wasn't too crowded and we got seated right away. We ordered a few beers and looked over the menu.

The waiter returned, asked what we wanted, helped clarify some choices, and off he went.

Our food was out quickly. And since we all got more or less an assortment of Tacos we got to taste a large portion of the menu. There was nothing disappointing about any ones choice.

We ate, had a few beers, and chatted for a long time. Nice to be able to have a meal and not have to scream across the table or the place be so dark that you could not see who you were chatting with.

The waiter was attentive so we never had a water shortage or need to hunt someone down for another beer. When I am back in Seattle I plan to go by there again!

A great taco bar in Fremont! They have a great happy hour menu, and the tacos are pretty solid. Service was great, and the bar's vibes are pretty cool. A lovely spot to catch up with friends in a casual setting!

The bar is cute and lively. I love this area that has some random bars and just really reminded me of the college days. The food was okay for me.

Quesadilla-- 5/5 stars. I mean, it's kinda hard to mess up a quesadilla IMHO. I was in the mood and it delivered.

Tacos- 3/5 stars. All the different tacos were an okay for me.

      Nachos- 3/5. OK. Nothing extraordinary.
