Never had a bad experience here. The food is always terrific. The staff is attentive and on top of service. Always love the ambiance. Plus it's dog friendly and located in a convenient area: Uptown Phoenix.

It's another 5 star experience for me.
Part of me doesn't want to blow this spot up more, but it's very well deserved. Their cocktails are fresh and balanced and only $6 until 5pm (outrageous). And there are so many to try!
The food also tastes fresh + high-quality + delicious. I got the chopped salad and added salmon--a generous portion--and thoroughly enjoyed it. My friend's pita stack was also super yummy.
The service really seals the deal for me. Everyone I've interacted with has made me feel very well taken care of, and are all around such good vibes. I love this place a lot. I'm confident telling people it's my favorite brunch spot (I wish they did have more brunch offerings on their menu, but even still, I've yet to find a brunch spot I'd rather go to).Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

From start to finish this was such a stellar experience! We had a group of 11 for brunch without reservation on a Sunday, so we waited a bit, but they have a nice designated waiting area with ample seating, shade, and drink service! We ordered a round of the $6 cocktails - I don't think you could go wrong with any of them!
The service was very quick, attentive + friendly - all of the stuff was so nice and accommodating and even hooked it up with a couple of free apps for the table since it was our first time there!
The food was all very tasty, and they were also accommodating with the different requests and splitting the bill between the large group.
Such a great spot! I am so excited to come back and try more drinks + food. The $6 cocktails last all day until 5pm - WE ARE OBSESSED. They tasted so fresh and high quality - I would pay much more for them, but don't tell them I said that. - Joan P.Phoenix, AZ215128Apr 5, 2024
I just love it here. Had lunch outside on the patio with a friend on Thursday. It was just lovely. My friend had a yummy cheeseburger (I stole all her pickles, and they were very fresh and crisp), and I ordered the white fish Banh-Mi with a side of Brussels sprouts -- both were also fabulous.
Our server was excellent, as well. We probably dallied a bit too long, enjoying our beer and espresso, and she did not rush us. Will def be back soon.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

First time into the Windsor and it is a must go establishment. Waiter had a great attitude and set a good tone. We ordered the loaded house chips as an appetizer. Our waiter Carlos quickly informed us a new version of the chips (tagarachi spiced chips with pork) was coming in a couple of weeks and would we like to try them? They are excellent!!! My wife said the Chips are the best homemade chips she has ever had. He also hooked us up with the happy hour mini pitcher which was 2.5 beers for 6$. Awesome! We ordered the fried chicken meal with biscuit and fried okra. The okra portion was small but excellent with a great dipping sauce. The fried chicken looked over cooked but was excellent! The only down side to the meal was the cheddar biscuit and the manager said they were swapping it out for a buttermilk biscuit (good call). They have a dog friendly outside patio which looks cool. We can't wait to come back with friends. Great job.

Friends picked this place for brunch it didn't disappoint and they were very welcoming of my fur baby and even were very patient with us when he managed to get off his leash and try to make some new friends at another table. The food was good and the drinks were really tasty and strong and the price on point.

I've been to Windsor for drinks before, but never for dinner. My parents and I decided to try it out on Saturday evening. We were quickly seated in a roomy booth. The restaurant is overall low lit, but in a way that creates a nice ambiance. I prefer a sweeter wine, and our waitress suggested the Perfekt Riesling which was a great choice. My mom said she's never had the foam on top of her old fashion, but she placed it in her top 3.
My parents got the dinner special which was a short rib, turnips, parsnip, and sweet potatoes over a mashed potatoes and gravy. The short rib was tender and full flavor. My mom wished the vegetables would've been softer. They both basically licked their plates clean.
I got the fish and chips which were cooked very well, and a nice meaty fillets. I asked the waitress if there was anyway I could have a side of the veggies from the dinner special and she kindly accommodated. I'm so glad, because they were my favorite part of dinner. I personally thought they were cooked to a perfect al dente with a savory buttery taste. I also got a side of fried okra. I love a cornmeal batter!
The wait staff often checked in on us and we're all very kind. Another local spot, definitely worth stopping in at.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

A cool spot to go, grab a drink or more! I enjoy a beer or two and they have an option to grab a pitcher which equals about two pints, great deal!
The burger was beyond what I could've expected and I never knew what I was missing by scrapping off caramelized onions, they're so good! The vibe, service, and food are all amazing.
They have outdoor, indoor, and bar seating. The staff were exceptional, the atmosphere was delightful and the food was delicious. Gotta come back!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Stopped in to satisfy a sweet tooth during brunch... got some bubbly with the beignets and some added hot fudge from Churn next door. The new biscuits recipe is fantastic, too... definitely save some hot fudge for them as well.

-Windsor TeamMar 17, 2024Previous reviewAs the "Duke of Windsor" let me please extend a warm welcome to the best little bar and restaurant in Uptown Phoenix. This is a family friendly, neighborhood public house. Crafted cocktails and a small menu to ensure everything is served well and delicious. The staff is the only thing to outshine their fare...
Feb 25, 2019Previous reviewI love this place... I do. Anyone that knows me knows this is my "go to" joint. They are just that cool. But, just like you... They make mistakes... They are imperfect... They have flaws... They are human. But what I LOVE is that they OWN 'em. They'll swallow any pride, throw out the apology and fully accept responsibility when they blow it. Its not often, but hey... Shit happens.
Tonight it happened... and unfortunately, the customer that had his to-go order mistakenly given to another customer was understandably bummed he'd have to wait a few more minutes while his order was re-made.
In true awesome fashion, management was there to apologize, throw out some comps, and let the customer know that this was not their standard... "We are better than this" was his words. But unfortunately, this customer still had an attitude, and couldn't be kind to another person... one who was apologizing, one who took responsibility and one who tried to make it right.... Of course he took the comp and shook the man's hand... But what would it have cost him just to be kind?! Say "thank you", and just be decent??
Try it... Its soooo much more fun than being a dick.Oct 3, 2015Previous reviewI love this place... I do. Anyone that knows me knows this is my "go to" joint. They are just that cool. Try it... Its soooo much more fun than being a dick.Feb 26, 2012Previous reviewThis is my favorite neighborhood spot, hands down. The bar staff is ALWAYS friendly, the patrons are always friendly, and the food is always really good! To be fair, they have a limited menu, but that's what makes them good at it... The attention to the little things exceed what you might find elsewhere... And when you do find a flaw, you really are happy to overlook it because they excel where others don't even try. They make you feel welcome and as if you're at a friend's place, rather than just a turn and burn restaurant. They actually love working there and you can tell... Lots of regulars in the place, and yes... They will get to know you, and your drink order pretty quickly. Today, I tried the Matador off their New Brunch Menu, which isn't posted on their web sight yet, but I'll post from a pic on their Facebook page ("like" them to get some great heads-ups on specials, etc.) and it was great! A friend kept eating bites off my plate too, but I really couldn't complain as it was THAT good, and there was definitely enough to share. Other meals I've had and enjoyed include the ribs, the corn dog poppers, the Fish sandwich, the Porkwich, and the loaded chips... All pretty unique in their own way and more than satisfying. I also love that I can go here for their mini pitcher of Odell IPA for 5 bucks, or just 7.50 after happy hour, where some places charge that much for just one beer. They also have a get set of house cocktails that are all made with fresh juices, herbs, purées, etc. The Pimms pitcher is an excellent alternative to a Bloody Mary... For which they also have lots of great fresh ingredients! Not sure what to eat or drink? Sit at the bar and anyone of their staff will be more than happy to go through what they have as well as take the time to get to know your likes/dislikes so they can make educated suggestions for you from what they have to offer.
The crowd at brunch was a great mix of young adults, small families, professionals, seniors and hungover hipsters... All of whom seemed to enjoy the people watching complexity of it all. And like I said, everyone feels very welcome and at home here. The restaurant doors open fully to join their patio to the bar on one side giving a great open feel even while sitting inside. Though, if you arrive after dark, you are likely going to be on a wait for a table or seat at the bar as it's a popular watering hole for the night life as well. Like many other Central Phoenix restaurants it has complimentary valet during busy hours so bring some cash for the attendants who are also just as friendly and will save you from having to walk blocks from other public parking. Locals will also love that it's definitely bicycle friendly and has often been popular with biking for beers enthusiasts... And light rail pub crawls! :)
Check it out for yourself... Sit out by the 70's retro fireplace, the bar, or a high back leather booth with a friend or two, or just go to make new ones. Coco, Matty, Australian Rob, James, and Claire are some of my favorites to recommend to friends there... Oh, and if yore a tequila fan, try the Del Maguey Chichicapa Mescal, served neat (no lime, salt, or ice)... But SIP IT SLOWLY! It's like the best scotch and tequila got together in a night of bliss and created an awesome little bastard ;)
Cheers!
